TYA – Zinse Agginie: African Drumming and Storytelling Interactive Experience

Students become the characters—big cats, reptiles, birds, insects, and more—in Zinse Agginie’s stories as they learn simple life lessons. His audiences journey through the deserts, savannas, and rainforests of Africa, guided by song and rhythm from his djembe and odono drums. The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra presents Masterworks II: A Whirling Dervish on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Perot Theatre in Texarkana, with a concert preview beginning at 6:10 PM.
