6. Death and Dying in the Victorian Era Walking Tour and Exhibit
Friday, October 15
The Texarkana Museums System presents its latest downtown walking tour: “Death and Dying in the Victorian Era.” Join us to learn weird and wild facts about Victorian mourning customs. The tour begins at the Museum of Regional History, 219 N. State Line Avenue and wraps up with a guided tour of the Victorian Mourning Customs exhibit at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel. Guests should wear their comfiest shoes and dress for the weather. Tickets are $15 each and are on sale now at TexarkanaMuseums.org/Events. For more information, please call 903-793-4831.

9. Painting with a Treat

The Texarkana Museums System will be hosting a Painting with a Treat class. Guest Artist, Richard Cramer, will be instructing a Halloween inspired painting for the public to recreate and take home. The event will start at 2 pm in the Carriage House at the Ace of Clubs. We will have a limited number of spots available, so registration ahead of time is required. Tickets will be $25 for Non-members and $20 for Members and the event will be BYOB.
