1. CASA Colorful 5K & Family Fun Run
Saturday, April 23
Join us for our CASA Colorful 5K & Family Fun Run on Saturday, April 23rd, at Trinity Baptist Church. Registration is $10 for ages 5-18 and $30 for ages 19 and up. Visit runsignup.com/casacolorful5k for details and registration. All proceeds benefit CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center.
 

2. TRAHC Speaker Series – Julie Coker-Tidwell
Thursday, April 21
This wildlife photographer will share tips and techniques of photographing animals in the wild.  Photographers of all skill levels and any nature lover will enjoy listening to her many adventures in the field. Come join local and regional animal enthusiasts and artists. Learn more!

4. TSO Concert – Dreaming Together

Versatile, daring and insightful, Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Martinez is establishing a reputation on both the national and international stages for the lyricism of her playing, her compelling interpretations, and her elegant stage presence. Learn more!
 

5. Four States Jazz Festival
Saturday, April 23
The 2022 Four States Jazz Festival is happening April 23rd at the Texarkana Central Mall, host by the TASD Band Boosters and the Texarkana Jazz Orchestra. Be sure to come out and support your favorite jazz groups from all over the four states area, including a concert by the Texarkana Jazz Orchestra in the evening. Learn more!
 

6. Scott Joplin Bus Tour
Saturday, April 23
Join the Texarkana Museums System for a drive through history featuring Texarkana’s own, Scott Joplin. This living history bus tour begins at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street, and visits the sites and neighborhoods where young Scott Joplin developed his extraordinary musical talent. Participants will have a chance to meet Scott Joplin along the way! First tour at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $10 each or $5 for TMS Members. Learn more!
 

7. Twin City Meat Up
Saturday, April 23
