1. Amy’s Fat Tuesday Party

It’s time to jazz it up for Amy’s Fat Tuesday Party on February 21st, 2023! Although the party officially starts at 7pm, we will open starting at 6pm for all those who want to get a head start! 2. George Tobolowsky Workshop & Bending the Rules III Reception
Thursday, February 23
George Tobolowsky is an internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor who creates steel and stainless steel sculptures by welding together “found objects”, discarded machine parts, industrial parts and scrap metal. Tobolowsky’s work can be currently be found in front of the Texarkana, Texas City Hall, and guests of the workshop will have a sneak peak of his work with salvaged pieces of the Hotel Grim. Learn more!

7. Giant Jenga Tournament

Texarkana H-D is hosting its Inaugural Giant Jenga Tournament at the dealership. 8. Color Your Feelings Workshop

Have you ever experienced art as therapy? You do not even have to know how to paint. You do not have to enjoy painting!  Jessica will guide you to understand emotions through sound and color. Youw ill then use paint and other mediums to express those feelings on canvas.  You will leave feelings refreshed and have a complete painting to hang on your wall! Learn more.

9. 21st Annual Regional Celebration of African American Artists Exhibit: Ernest C. Withers Collection, Good Night, My Love
Through March 25

This photography exhibition features work from the iconic worldwide photojournalist, Ernest C. Withers, who recorded African American history in the segregated South for over sixty years. His vast collection contains some of the most significant Civil Rights Movement activities. Withers’ ever-present three cameras captured moments of change, conflict, classic, community, bravery, courage, determination, innocence, inspiration, and love. With the added local representation from photographer Barbara Pitts Riley, and a High School Cell Phone photography competition, this exhibition details significant history lessons with glimpses of the past, present, and future. Learn more!
