Kaylynn Sharp is Leading the Way in Texarkana USA

Kaylynn Sharp, recipient of the 2025 Wilbur Award for outstanding youth, serves as a summer intern for Leadership Texarkana. She is the 2025 Valedictorian from Pleasant Grove High School and plans to attend the University of Texas in Austin in the fall. Kaylynn, who has been one of the standout performers in the Pleasant Grove High School theatre program and is the 2025 Silver Medalist in 4A Theatrical Design Marketing, will major in acting.

In addition to her academic and theatrical resume, she has served her community as a worship and small group leader and Northern Hills Baptist Church, International Thespian Co-President, Pleasant Grove Student Council President, and Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership ambassador and facilitator. She is passionate about engaging and equipping student leaders, advocating for the fine arts, and pouring into the community where she was born and raised.
