Get your creative brain in gear and start planning to compete in Texarkana’s new PITCH IT competition – and vie for big prizes! Participant’s initial pitch will take place on Thursday, March 31st starting at 4:00pm at Crossties in downtown Texarkana. They will be given a pitch time on Tuesday, March 29th. Join the Texarkana Museums System at the Four States Auto Museum, 217 Laurel Street, for a night of food, fun, and MURDER! The crime wave starts January 29 at 6:00 p.m. Travel back to the Roaring Twenties and enjoy vintage cars and a great dinner along with a side of mayhem. Are you the victim or the murderer? You won’t find out until you arrive! Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Best Actor, and Best Detective! 1920s costumes are encouraged, but not required. Tickets are $45 each for non-members and only $40 for TMS Members. Couples are just $80. Deadline for tickets is January 26, 2022. Buy yours today!

10. Tiny Art Show – Texarkana Public Library
The Texarkana Public Library is hosting a Tiny Art Show program for Youth Art Month which is in March. If you wish to participate in the Tiny Art Show, Art Kits are available inside the library or at our Drive-through window while supplies last, beginning January 18th. This program is for ages 13 years of age and older. Art kits include 1 canvas with easel, paint, paint brush, and a color mixing guide.
